The Doubler is available in both 3-season and Summer weights, the Expander in 3-season weight. The Sweetie Pie allows you to create your own custom sleeping system and can be used on top of or underneath your bag. This enables you to use your favorite sleeping bag year-round in a variety of weather and sleeping configurations. The Sweetie Pie is made with a full-length 70” YKK #8 coil separating zipper, 50 denier Ripstop Nylon, double layers of Polarguard 3D insulation with offset stitching (one layer in the Summer weight), and built in draft tubes along the zipper. The result is a highly compressible pie that is lightweight, breathable, absorbs little moisture and retains loft even when wet. The Sweetie Pie is easily stored and laundered, and is non-allergenic and mildew resistant. Compatibility issues: In 1999 YKK standardized its #8 coil separating zipper; the Sweetie Pie is compatible with most high-end bags made post 1999 with a full-length zipper; this includes bags made by Marmot, Big Agnes, Sierra Designs, REI, North Face, and Mountain Hardware. It offers individuals an additional 28” (71cm) across the shoulders; it is great for pregnant or nursing mothers, and for snuggling with a toddler or dog. Two Expanders zipped together equals a Doubler, a kid’s bag, or a bivy. The Doubler allows couples to sleep together warmly and comfortably in one sleeping bag. The design gives you room where you need it most: almost five feet (152cm) across the shoulders and hips. The Doubler also zips into itself to create a separate child's bag or bivy.
